Deposit Policy
At Ridgeline Volleyball, many of our programs require a deposit to reserve an athlete’s spot. Because our programs have limited space and require advance planning, deposits are generally non-refundable.
Deposits help us plan responsibly for each program, including reserving facilities, hiring coaches, organizing training groups, purchasing materials or equipment when needed, and holding a spot that may prevent another athlete from registering.
How Deposits Work
When a deposit is required, it is applied toward the total cost of the program. The deposit is not an additional fee unless otherwise stated.
By submitting a deposit, families are confirming their athlete’s spot in the program and acknowledging that the deposit is generally non-refundable.
Non-Refundable Deposits
In most cases, deposits are non-refundable if an athlete chooses not to participate, withdraws before the program begins, misses sessions, or is unable to attend due to scheduling conflicts.
This policy allows us to plan fairly and consistently while protecting the quality of the program for all registered athletes.
Case-by-Case Consideration
We understand that unexpected situations can happen. While deposits are generally non-refundable, families are always welcome to reach out to us if they believe their situation deserves special consideration.
Refund or credit requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at Ridgeline Volleyball’s discretion. Depending on the circumstances, we may consider options such as a partial credit, program credit, transfer to another Ridgeline program, or other reasonable solution.
Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund or credit, but we are always willing to listen and work with families when possible.
Program Changes or Cancellations
If Ridgeline Volleyball cancels a program entirely before the program begins, families will be notified and provided with a refund of the deposit (if paid) and any other payments made for that specific program.
If a program is canceled after it has already begun, the program deposit is not eligible for a refund. However, any remaining dues, or dues already paid for canceled sessions, will be refunded or credited accordingly.
If a program schedule, location, or format changes, Ridgeline Volleyball will communicate those changes as soon as possible. Refund or credit options, if applicable, will depend on the nature of the change.
How to Request Review
To request a refund or credit review, please contact Ridgeline Volleyball by email or phone with the athlete’s name, program name, and a brief explanation of the situation.
All requests will be reviewed individually, and Ridgeline Volleyball will make the final decision based on the circumstances, program costs already incurred, available space, and overall fairness to the program and other families.
