Coach Nikki — 12U Head Coach
Nikki Taylor is a distinguished volleyball player from Honolulu, O'ahu, who excelled at the University of Hawai'i, earning two-time AVCA All-American and back-to-back Big West Player of the Year honors, while ranking among the school's all-time leaders in kills, service aces, and double-doubles. She was also the most winningest player of all time for Women’s Beach Volleyball at UH.
Following her collegiate success, she embarked on a professional career, playing as an opposite hitter for clubs in Italy, Finland, Germany, Switzerland, and France, including Lardini Filottrano, LP Kangasala, Rote Raben Vilsbiburg, VBC Cheseaux, and Saint-Raphael Var Volleyball.

Coach Hannah — 12U Assistant Coach
Hannah began playing volleyball in third grade and quickly fell in love with the game. By sixth grade, she joined her hometown club team, and by eighth grade, she expanded into beach volleyball, joining a national team through her beach club’s indoor program. Throughout high school, she played beach in the summers and traveled nationwide with her national championship team.
Her passion for coaching began in her senior year of high school, when she led a 13U club team and discovered how rewarding it was to help younger athletes grow in skill and confidence. Now a senior at Montana State University, Hannah continues to compete with the MSU Women’s Club Volleyball team.
As a coach, she strives to instill teamwork, resilience, and passion in her players—helping them not only improve their volleyball skills but also find joy in the game.

Coach Terrin — 12U Assistant Coach
Terrin is a mechanical engineering student at Montana State University who grew up in Hawaii, where volleyball has been a lifelong passion. He has played club, high school, and beach volleyball for most of his life and currently competes for the MSU Club Team as an outside/pin hitter, with additional experience as a middle blocker.
Outside of volleyball, Terrin enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and skiing. As a coach, he loves teaching all aspects of the game, with particular interest in out-of-system attacking and serve receive.
He’s excited to share his passion for the sport with the next generation of players.

Coach Mallorie — 13U Head Coach
Raised in the gym while her mother coached Club and High School Volleyball in Oregon, she began playing club volleyball at age nine, specializing as a setter and libero. Over the past decade, she has built a strong athletic foundation—also excelling as a center fielder in softball known for her highlight-reel catches.
As a high school team captain, she led the defense with precision, earning First Team All-League and All-State honors. She graduated holding her school’s records for serve-receive efficiency, digs, and aces, and was awarded the program’s Core Value Award for leadership, integrity, work ethic, and commitment to team culture.
Currently, Mallorie plays for the Montana State Volleyball Club A Squad as a defensive specialist and libero. She previously coached 12s at Aspire NW Volleyball Club alongside her mother, Julie Taylor, Head Coach at La Salle Catholic College Preparatory.
Mallorie continues to return to Oregon to coach camps at La Salle and is passionate about developing young athletes through disciplined training, positive mentorship, and a team-first mindset.

Coach Jenna — 14U Head Coach
Volleyball has been a part of Jenna’s life for as long as she can remember.
Originally from northwestern Wisconsin, she grew up playing club volleyball in the Minneapolis area, where she quickly fell in love with the sport. In high school, Jenna earned recognition as a First Team Wisconsin All-State Libero and was also named to the 2018 All-State Tournament Team.
While she still loves to compete, she now channels her passion into coaching, guiding young players to develop their skills and confidence. Jenna served as the head coach of a 13’s team last year and is excited to bring her energy, experience, and enthusiasm to the Ridgeline program.

Coach Jake — 14U Assistant Coach
Jake’s volleyball journey began as a freshman in Upstate New York, where he quickly developed a passion for the game. By his sophomore year, he earned a varsity starting spot and went on to serve as team captain for two of his three seasons. He also competed with Lakeside Volleyball Club, spending two years on their 18U team.
Jake continued his career at Juniata College in Pennsylvania, helping his team reach the NCAA Elite 8 in 2017. He later earned a full scholarship to Queens University of Charlotte, where he finished his playing career at the Division I level and completed his graduate degree.
After college, Jake began coaching clinics and training sessions for clubs in the greater Charlotte area, sharing his experience and love of the game with younger athletes. Since moving to Bozeman in 2019, he has become an active member of the local volleyball community and is passionate about helping grow the sport in the Gallatin Valley.

Coach Dan — 15U Head Coach
Dan began his volleyball career in high school in New Jersey, where he was a First Team All-State outside hitter and 2015 state champion. His club team, Warren Sixpak, finished 12th in USAV Open Nationals in both 2014 and 2015, and he began competing in men’s open beach tournaments on the GAV tour that same year. He also helped launch Warren Sixpak’s first girls team, serving as a coach during their inaugural season.
From 2016–2017, Dan played libero for Ohio State’s club team, helping them earn a national runner-up finish in 2017. He later shifted his focus to beach volleyball, competing on the AVP Next Tour across the Midwest, Northeast, and Florida for four years.
While in Ohio, Dan coached for TCA Ohio under multi-year national champion coach Neil Mason, then joined Adidas Advancement Academy, where he became the youngest open-level coach in club history.
After seven years of coaching, Dan relocated to Chicago to focus on his career before moving to Bozeman in 2023, where he connected with Coach Nikki and others who shared his vision of bringing high-level volleyball to an underserved region.

Coach Peyten — 15U Assistant Coach
Peyten Boutwell grew up in Lake Oswego, Oregon, where she played for Lake Oswego High School and the Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy (OJVA). In high school, she led the Three Rivers League in blocks and earned First Team All-League honors.
She began her collegiate career at the University of California, Riverside before transferring to Abilene Christian University, where she was a three-time Southland Conference Honor Roll selection and made the College of Business Dean’s Honor Roll. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Peyten continued her career at the University of Montana, completing dual master’s degrees in Business Administration and Public Administration. While at Montana, she earned Academic All-Big Sky honors both seasons and ranked among conference leaders in blocking and hitting percentage.
In addition to her playing career, Peyten has coached in both Montana and Texas, bringing extensive Division I experience and a deep understanding of the middle blocker position. She’s passionate about developing athletes’ technical skills, competitive mindset, and leadership on the court.

Coach Jamie — 16U Assistant Coach
Jamie has played volleyball for over 20 years and has been coaching for over 10.
He attended Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD, where he participated in the club program predominantly as a setter and coached for Kairos Volleyball club in Sioux Falls before moving to Bozeman, MT in 2016.
When he’s not coaching or playing volleyball, you can find him skiing, running, and enjoying nature (ask him what cool bird he’s last seen). He works full time at LexisNexis Risk Solutions in Analytics and Data Science.

Coach Maddie — 17U Head Coach
Maddie Breckon is entering her fifth year coaching club volleyball in Bozeman, Montana. Originally from Colorado, she moved to Bozeman to attend Montana State University, where she is now in her fifth year playing for the MSU Women’s Club Volleyball team and has served as the team’s President for the past three and a half years.
With over a decade of playing experience, Maddie was a four-year varsity athlete in high school, earning All-Conference Honorable Mention in 2017, and has competed nationwide in cities such as Denver, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Seattle, Spokane, and Phoenix. Throughout her career, she has played every position but now specializes as a Libero/Defensive Specialist for MSU.
Maddie began coaching developmental skills for ages 8–10 during high school and continues to focus on fostering a healthy, competitive, and supportive environment for her players. She values building unique, meaningful connections with each athlete she coaches.

Coach Noah — 17U Assistant Coach
Originally from North Dakota, Noah discovered his love for volleyball playing with his sister and dad. In high school, he helped start a men’s volleyball club before continuing his career with the Montana State Men’s Club Team for three years.
Since then, he has remained active in the sport, competing in numerous recreational leagues throughout Bozeman.

Coach Cassidy — 18U Assistant Coach
Cassidy Schumacher serves as the Director of Operations and Technical Coordinator for Montana State Volleyball, overseeing team travel, statistics, and daily operations. She also assists as the director of Montana State’s summer volleyball camps.
Her coaching background includes positions with Grand Valley State University, Grand Rapids Christian High School, Black River High School, and West Ottawa High School, as well as coaching with Michigan Volleyball Academy and working in operations for Hope College Athletics.
Cassidy earned her bachelor’s degree in Sport and Business Administration from Hope College and recently completed her Master of Science in Sport and Coaching Sciences at Montana State University.
