YOUTH BEACH PROGRAM
Ridgeline Beach Volleyball Program – 2026
Led by Head Beach Coach Nikki Taylor
Ridgeline’s Beach Program is led by Head Beach Coach Nikki Taylor, one of the most accomplished beach volleyball players to come out of Hawaii.
Nikki played collegiately at the University of Hawai‘i, where she became the program’s all-time wins leader and earned four-time All-American honors. Known for her versatility and competitive mindset, Nikki was also recognized as one of the most successful dual-sport athletes in Hawai‘i athletics history.
Today, Nikki brings that same elite-level experience and passion for the game into her coaching. Her philosophy focuses on developing athletes not only as strong volleyball players, but also as confident competitors and thoughtful teammates.
Under her leadership, Ridgeline athletes learn what it takes to compete, communicate, and grow in one of volleyball’s most demanding—yet rewarding—environments.
What Athletes Can Expect
Beach volleyball is one of the best ways to develop complete volleyball players. With only two athletes on the court, every player must pass, set, attack, defend, communicate, and think strategically.
Throughout the program, athletes can expect to develop:
Strong ball control and serve-receive fundamentals
Effective attacking and shot selection
Court awareness and defensive reading skills
Communication and teamwork in a partner-based game
Conditioning, agility, and overall volleyball IQ
Sessions are designed to balance skill development, competitive play, and athlete confidence, allowing players to challenge themselves while still enjoying the fun and freedom that makes beach volleyball unique.
Whether an athlete is new to beach or looking to compete at a higher level, our goal is to create an environment where every player can improve and enjoy the process.
Why Ridgeline Is Different
At Ridgeline, our mission is simple: build great athletes and great people.
Our programs are designed around the core values that define our club:
Respect. Growth. Community. Competition.
We believe volleyball should be challenging, positive, and deeply rewarding. That means creating a culture where athletes support one another, work hard, and represent the game with integrity, both on and off the court.
Ridgeline’s beach program focuses on:
High-quality coaching and mentorship
A positive and encouraging learning environment
Skill development that translates to both beach and indoor volleyball
A community that values sportsmanship and professionalism
